From humble beginnings, Demers Plate Glass was founded in 1935 by Herbert Demers in a small storefront located on River Street in Haverhill. In 1944, Demers Plate Glass was acquired by Lawrence Plate Glass, and run as a subsidiary company until 2001. The current ownership of Demers Glass Is immensely grateful for the mentorship he received from the Demers Family – Walter Sr, Walter Jr, Walter III and Gene Demers. Without their friendship and loyalty, we would not be where we are today.
